Keihanna Science City's Logo

"Keihanna" refers to the Kansai Science City. The logo of the city depicts a flying angel known as "Hiten," who scatters flower petals, plays music and burns sweet incense while flying in the sky. The gentle curves in the logo represent the slopes of the Keihanna hills, and the three patterns symbolize
"time" accumulated throughout the past, present, and future. The three patterns also represent the cooperation between Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara, or the collaboration between industry, academia, and government.
